Abdul R Shahein, MD, MSc, is currently at the St. Christophe’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and will travel to Theodor Bilharz Institute in Giza, Egypt, to train with Mostafa Ibrahim, MD, FASGE, professor, and founder of the ROEYA Training Center in the Middle East to develop proficiency in advanced endoscopic procedures in pediatrics and adults.
Luís Filipe Correia Gomes, MD, is currently at the Postuguês de Oncologia Francisco Gentil in Lisbon, Portugal, and will travel to the Keio University School of Medicine, Minimally Invasive Treatment Cancer Center, in Tokyo, Japan, to train with Naohisa Yahagi, MD, PhD, on advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.
Masood Muhammad Karim, MBBS, is currently at the Aga Khan University Hospital in Karachi, Pakistan, and will travel to Ohio State University, Wexner Medical Center, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, in Columbus, Ohio, to train with Somashaker G. Krishna, MD, MPH, FASGE, on complication ERCP techniques, therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound competency and elevating endoscopic submucosal dissection skills.
